Crazy story! I can just imagine the crazy dancing man with the weird bent neck. I don’t want to encounter this character with his weird wolf dog. If you need a thrill, read this one!

Making More Money for YOU!: Mutual Fund Investing on a Budget for Beginners by Magnus Carter is a great book for anyone who is looking to learn more about how to improve their future and live a more fulfilling life. There are lots of books out there that cover this topic, but this one stands out because of the simplicity in which it presents the ideas and the ease in which the reader can understand them. The basic message here is to invest in your future. The more you invest in yourself, the easier it is to live the life that you want. It takes hard work and commitment, but the payoff is worth it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to improve their life, but the younger you are when you start to apply these beliefs the greater the reward will be later.

Making More Money for You!: Mutual Fund Investing on a Budget for Beginners

Author Magnus Carter shares that he is an employee of a corporation and this lighthearted but seriously useful book on investing is a capital resource! The tone of the book is set in the following remarks – ‘With advertisement and their popularity, you must have heard about mutual funds; however, if you have not, you don’t need to worry because we have got you covered. In this book, the concept and working of mutual funds are described in very simple and easy steps. You will not find legal jargon flustered throughout the chapters, The book’s purpose is to educate as any people as possible about the investing market and how to begin investing in your first dollars.’
Gaining the readers acute attention, Magnus states, ‘The biggest cause of stress is financial instability,’ quickly followed by ‘Mutual funds area relatively low-risk investment option that people gain significant returns on.’ What is offered in this book is no-nonsense, down to earth, realistic, and accessible information on investing, written in a casual manner that is easy to understand and incorporate.
Magnus starts with the basics – those terms we hear in discussions by businessmen, but rarely understand – net worth (how to calculate it), making a budget to include investing, types of investments (short term, short duration), mutual funds (how they work, when they are beneficial, the different types – equity/index/balances/money market etc), Exchange-traded Funds, steps for setting up your first mutual fund investment, fees (maintenance fees, annual fund operating expenses), taxes and mutual funds, investment brokers and how to use them, how often to check on your money, making money with your funds (reinvesting, Dividend Reinvestment Plans) and even selling mutual funds.
Reading this book regains a sense of confidence; using this book is a fine beginning for entering investing for many of us! Grady Harp, October 21
